Today started out to be a good day, but it changed in the wink of an eye, or rather, the blink of a traffic signal.
I was stopped at a red light at a notoriously dangerous intersection on my way to work this noon (Wednesday is my evening at the library) and BANG! I got rearended. An older guy smashed right into me. My head flew forward, snapped back, and hit the headrest with quite a smack--I remember thinking, "Whoo! Thank God for headrests!"
My rear bumper is cracked right across, and I am sore as hell. The ER doc didn't ask what I wanted for pain, so I'm stuck with a scrip for Vicodin, which makes me heave, and one for naproxin, which I can take. I have my own prescription for Flexeril from my own doctor, so I turned that down.
And the day had started out so well. Shit!!!!
