More saddle stuff

Well, tonight Sue is bringing out a used Smith-Worthington saddle that will hopefully fit Tiki well enough till my own Stubben gets back from being restuffed.

I hope his back is less sore. I talked to Katie Tuesday night and we're going to set up an appointment for our horses, so we can share the barn visit cost. More money...

But Tiki's worth it!!!

Well, Sue never showed up with the loaner saddle tonight. She said she'd be at the barn about "6.30, quarter to seven" and knowing Sue, I thought she'd be there around 7.30.

I was there till after 8 pm and she never showed nor called.

Grrr!!!!

What the hell is it with me and tack dealers anyhow? Sue's been late every damn time she's come to fit Tiki--last year I waited so long for her in an unheated barn in subzero January weather, my cold turned into a severe case of bronchitis. And now this. And the woman who owns Sport Horse Supply in Grafton was acting like I wasn't good enough to buy her things last Thursday when I went to talk to her. And Ann Hubbard of the eponymous tack shop of Lake Bluff, IL, acted like she didn't want to sell me anything when I visited her--even though I bought almost $200.00 worth of stuff.

WTF???

I SO do not need this.

What I DO need is a saddle that fits both me and Tiki.

Will I ever GET one????
