I went to a temp-to-perm agency this morning and the woman I talked to was very enthusiastic about my signing on! Yay! It's clerical, 'tis true, but hey! a foot in the door is a good thing! There is always hope for promotion!

IT WOULD BE MORE MONEY THAN I'M EARNING NOW!!!!

I dressed as I would for a regular interview and that impressed her very much, which was a good thing--she knows I'm a professional and will keep me in mind for the professional assignments. I also surprised myself by having more of the skills they're looking for than I thought. :) YAY! Hopefully, that will earn me more money on an assignment! (I suck at Excel, though.)

Robin (that's her name) said she'll keep me on her "hot list" and let me know as soon as something comes up! Let's hope it does--SOON!

That's how I started actually. Straight out of college I went in as a temp. It's a wonderful way to start out in a business. :)
